How early should I start prenatal chiropractic care?

This is one of the most common questions we get from our pregnant Momma’s? The answer is it depends!

Typically, the best option is as early as possible even before conception. The benefit of starting chiropractic care before conception is making sure that your body and nervous system is functioning to it’s fullest potential to create an optimal house for your baby. Regular and consistent chiropractic care can be one of the tools to support your fertility regimen.

Although, preconception is the most ideal time to start prenatal chiropractic care, not many people start there and that is totally fine. Everybody is on a different journey when it comes to pregnancy so there is no right or wrong time to initiate prenatal chiropractic care.

There are benefits at every stage of pregnancy so whenever you start care, you are helping your body and baby be more comfortable throughout pregnancy.

My goal as a prenatal chiropractor is to help our mommas have a healthier and happier pregnancy using specialized prenatal techniques such as the Webster Technique. Even though there is no perfect timing to start care, it is important to note that often the best results are achieved the sooner prenatal care has been initiated.
